Mario Ponce- Enrile was born in Manila, Philippines, in 1980. He began his musical journey at the age of four, singing in public with his mother Joy Salinas. He collaborates with several young street artist of the italian hip hop scene, participating at varius conventions as a dancer. At the age of 18 he started playing drums, and soon met well- known jazz musicians of the italian bebop scene like Emanuele Basentini,  Fabiano "Red" Pellini, Pietro Ciancaglini and Lorenzo Tucci . Attending the Jam Sessions at the Gregory's Jazz Club, Mario Ponce- Enrile met the famous American tenor saxophonist Steve Grossman, who sends him to Paris, the city that houses the American drummer George Brown, who became hie teacher since 2003. Mario now lives and works in Paris where he performes  with his own band "The Mr. Days".
